Donald Trumps Tax Plan Helps Nobody
I was recently looking at the current tax plans offered by the 2016 presidential candidates. Some of them seem to have put a lot of work into their plans, while others seem to have relied on others and their expertise. These is where Trump falls into the picture. It is clear he obtains his policies and information from others. His immigration plan was crafted by Jeff Sessions, so who knows who developed his "magnificent" tax plan?
Despite what Trump wants to tell you, his plan isn't very good. Does it help some people? Yes, but not the ones that it should. In fact, the only ones it'll actually help are rich folks. Poor people usually won't pay any taxes anyway. Most households that make under 50k already don't pay taxes. Singles, who bring in less than the minimum, already don't pay taxes. Unfortunately, the plan isn't great and just doesn't help. This is very depressing.
Of course, it isn't like anyone else has offered anything better. The whole 2016 election has been a laughing stock, at this point. It feels like a WWE Monday Night Raw show! The only difference is that Trump hasn't shaved anyone's hair yet! Ha!
